The first property owned by Thomas Linthicum was called Margaret's Fields. I have Caroline L. Britt Mullins book "The History of Mayo Maryland" and it has a hand-drawn map of the "conjectured locations of land grants" in Mayo. Margaret's Fields is on the point of land where the name "Ramsey Lake" is on the accompanying Google map. Hedge Park, another Linthicum place is south and slightly west of there. The area between Mayo Road and Carrs Wharf Road is listed as "believed to belong to the Linthicums"
