My line is Thomas Jr, a long string of Hezekiahs and Archibalds to my GGrandfather a Hezekiah born in what is now WV and died in Missouri.
I knew Dick Linthicum slightly, it was always assumed I was related, and he was an athlete at UCLA in the late 20s and early 30s when my family lived in LA.
I look up the name from time to time to see what google offers and I got Marie Channing Linthicum recently. Her book is on its way on inter library loan and I will know more about her soon. Most of her writings are in sites where membership is required to read the material.
There was a Linthicum attached to a church in Hadley Wood north of London. I wrote to him and didn't receive a reply. As near as I know there are no Linthicums left in England or Ireland.
