Jack, At the website linked below there are subsequent (go to bottom of page) links to http://www.geonius.com/family/web/Linthicum_Abner_Sr.html three differnt sites (none of which work any more). I have wriiten to the site owner. I'm wondering if this is the same document you have? Without the annotations? Link: "A Brief History of Linthicum" was written in 1938 by Sweetser Linthicum. The second page discusses the acquisition and development of the land that is now Linthicum, MD by Abner Linthicum, Sr. and his children. Link: Linthicum* is a long list of Linthicums with birth dates, death dates, and spouses. A lot of the dates are missing and some disagree with the dates I have. For example, Abner Linthicum, Sr.'s date of death is listed as 1847-02-19, rather than the 1848-02-08 date I found in the 1934 Genealogy of the Linthicum and Allied Families. Link: Abner LINTHICUM - ... is an index of Linthicums in Janice A. Devan's on-line genealogy. This is very interesting that we have a new name for "Jane". As you know, my line comes from Thomas Francis and Elizabeth Williams. Any facts on them are high on my list as well as filling in any blanks and adding background material. I will be pleased to reecive any material that would not be too much trouble for you to copy and mail. Please contact me off forum for a mailing address. fayrankin@juno.com My wife and I are working this summer in an RV Park in Utah and I'm thinking we will try to find an east coast job next summer to be able to spend some time in Maryland and North Carolina.
