Yes, sometime back I asked a news group I participate in if there were any London Subway stops even close to Linthicum.
The consensus was 'no' and several actually contacted this font group and learned that they were very uncertain as to where the name had really come from. My best guess is that the Twinbrook stop in Maryland is near a Linthicum Street, other wise I would attribute the selection of the name to artificial means.

I need London subway advice. Is there such a stop on the London subway system?
For those of us Londinium impaired where, geographically, is this bit of heaven? There are two light rail stations in the Baltimore system, Linthicum and North Linthicum, of which only the latter is an actual stop. "
