Yes, sometime back I asked a news group I participate in if there were any London Subway stops even close to Linthicum. The consensus was 'no' and several actually contacted this font group and learned that they were very uncertain as to where the name had really come from. My best guess is that the Twinbrook stop in Maryland is near a Linthicum Street, other wise I would attribute the selection of the name to artificial means.
