Thomas was a Quaker when he emigrated

I mentioned that Thomas Linthicum was a Quaker when he came to Maryland to a correspondent in an e-mail. I thought it would be worthwhile to give a cite to the entire group to confirm that.

I also have a cite for a chapter in George Fox's biography. Fox was the founder of the Society of Friends. He spent time in Wales in 1656 and 1657 when Thomas would have been 16-17. Thomas said he was a gentleman from Wales when introduced in Maryland, not that he was Welsh himself.

I have included my two pet references to Linscombs in Ireland and a means of guiding anyone who wants to look up Civil War ancestors. Quaker Civil war
