I would like to compare notes with you. From what I have, it seems my 5th great grandparents were Daniel Sherwood (1749-1838) and Frances Linthicum (1749-1806). Their daughter Elinor (b. 1776) married Jeremiah Field. Their son, Elswick Field m. Guilianna Lindsay in Guilford Co. NC in 1831. Their son John Andrew Field was my 2nd great grandfather.
