Carolyn;
Feel free to quote me. In all my research, and the correspondance that I've received from many fellow Linthicum researchers over the past 7 years, no one has been able to provide to me any positive proof of the origin of the name, although the late Sweetser Linthicum after hiring several genealogical researchers, came close with some information from several counties in old England. Nothing positive though.
