Sheila: Thank you so very much for the reply, can not tell you how long I have been trying to figure this out.No wonder I could't! At what point do we become our own Grandpa's?
I take it there was a div. between Willie/Matilda, he went to Howell Co. and she mrd. John, kept the kids in Ky, then later moved to Howell Co? Is that abt. right? Then when Willie C. Wiseman died probate court gave everything he had to John for the children and made him Guardian along with the son John R. Wiseman. I still have not rec'd the Probate Doc's yet. If anything more mind boggling, I'll let you know.
This explains why Matilda is buried on the WRIGHT FAMILY PLOT (she is buried beside her daug.) besides John was planning ahead.HA
Again, thank you for all your help.BEV PS:
How are you related to Matilda, I'm almost afraid to asK?
