Just came accross this post. I am a direct descendant of John Linsley of Branford, Ct, approx 1640.
Live in Cedar, Iowa. I have father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather, who came from Brandford, all buried in a small area in cemetery about 2 miles from my house.
Are you familair with the manuscript [Connecticut Linsleys, The Six Johns], written by Ray Keyes Linsley, Bristol, Ct.
Did you know there is a Linsley street in Branford Ct. I have been there.
