Hello Saundra. Thank you for your quick reply. If you have any names/dates for the two other children who died young it would be appreciated, however, I could always make this info as a genealogical note. Norwood Smith's father's name was Stephen Irving Smith (1834-1916), so the name of his son Irvin Stephen Smith is not surprising. I did not know about this Irvin Smitb, however, but am eager to find out. If you could pass along your info and references, it might help in the search, especially his SSN. Irvin Stephen Smith would not be alive today because he is not mentioned in the obit for Ethel Elizabeth Keese. I have her obit and offer it to you for further research if you like. If you like, we could correspond offline on this.

According to the obit of Norwood Smith, he moved to Oklahoma around the turn of the century in his twenties. Sara's mother who was living with them at the time of the 1910 census was named Lizzie. Norwood SMITH died Monday, 5 Aug 1918 in Norman, Cleveland Co.
