I just saw your post, so I think you've found your Fulton and Mary (Metzler) Linkletter by now, but just in case.... They were the adoptive parents of the man best known as Art Linkletter, the TV host and author who just died this week. Their two children had died by the time they adopted Art in Canada (Art had been abandoned in Saskatchewan). They moved to the US when Art was about three. He wrote about Fulton and Mary in his autobiography, "Confessions of a Happy Man" (1960). You can also read about Fulton and Mary in the many obituaries being published this week.
