June: Do you know what year Issac S. Lingo was born. In a copy of a letter he wrote my g.g.grandfather, Calvin Morris in Hardin County, Tennessee, he stated the following. He said he was born in TN, he married Elizabeth 12 Dec, 1844, its hard to read, but looks like he said he was 18 when they married. Also they had a son, Lawson, that Elizabeth had died, and he (Issac) had moved back home for a while, but then his mother died, and he (Issac) remarried. I found this James Lingo below in the 1850 Randolph county census, but didn't find Samuel or Issac, they might have lived in Macon county. The Sarah Blue I suppose is the daughter of James, that had married a John Blue. Do you think this James is Issac's father or grandfather. Thanks for any help.
