ADDITIONAL PARTY TO THE 1939 INDENTURE

SUBJECT
These Indentures relate to the Will of Thomas Elliott, who died in 1893, leaving most of his property in trust for the benefit of his wife Mary Jane Elliott. In 1929 the then trustees, Frederick Linfield and George Smith, are being replaced by James Denton and Christopher Cook.
In the 1939 Indenture James Denton (who has died) is being replaced by Harry Duffield.
This second Indenture tells us that Mary Jane Elliott died in 1938.
Both Indentures contain schedules listing the assets held in trust which consist primarily of 8 dwelling houses numbers 41 43 45 49 61 and 53 and 55 Orme Road, Worthing, Sussex.
