Another set of Lindauers in Wurttemberg

My German ancestor is Christian Lindauer. He was born on April 7, 1848 in Eberhardsweiler, Germany. This small village is (or used to be) about 35 km ENE of Stuttgart near Welzheim.

Christian came to America in 1868 and settled briefly in Omaha, Nebraska. There he married Rosa Myers, also a German immigrant. They moved to Forrest City, Arkansas where they lived the remainder of their lives.

Does anyone have any information on Lindauers from this part of Germany? Does anyone know of a link between these Lindauers and the others around the Stuttgart ares? Also, can anyone tell me how to find more information about this family?

Thanks for any help.

Ronny Roy
