Hi Larry,
John Lindsey, the son of David Lindsey and Mary Casey, did not marry Elizabeth West. That was a different John Lindsey, who died in Greene Co., TN sometime after 1820.His widow, Elizabeth, remained in Greene Co., where she remarried in 1831, to Isaac Walker.John and Elizbeth West Lindsey did have a daughter named Elizabeth, who married William Williams. The information about John and Elizabeth West Lindsey's children is from Kevin West. Here is a link to a post he made in reply to my query about John Lindsey and Elizabeth West:

Additionally, I have the handwritten signature of John Lindsey on the 1797 marriage bond.It does not match the numerous signatures of John Lindsey as administrator of David Lindsey's estate, nor the numerous signatures that were included in promissary notes found in John Lindsey's own probate file.
John Lindsey, son of David Lindsey and Mary Casey, died in Talladega Co., AL. John Lindsey's son, Joseph H. Lindsey, administered his estate. In 1846, Joseph H. Lindsey filed a petition to sell John Lindsey's land.As part of this document, Joseph Lindsey included a list of John Lindsey's heirs. There were 5 daughters named. They were Rachel Reddin, Mary Reddin, Rebecca Harmon, Lydia Lindsey, and Sarah Lindsey.
What information do you have that can show that John Lindsey, son of David Lindsey and Mary Casey, had a daughter named Elizabeth?
Thanks,
Susan Grabek
