I have an old family tree (100 years) which has as its trunk Major John Lindsay. The tree has a break representing JL's two wives-Mary Lindsay and Mrs. Clarissa Bullock Sims. It has the Lindsay Coat of Arms and a signature of Lucian Lamar Knight of the Georgia archives. Does anyone know about this tree and why/when it was created.
