Yes, we're definitely related. Erma (with an E rather than an I) was my great grandmother. I absolutely adored her. She died in 1977 or '78. My grandfather, her son Lawrence, died in 1980. Harriette, his wife and my gram, died in 1997. You would have spoken with her, probably, especially if the number no longer works. Grandpa's sister, LaVerne Linde Fitzpatrick, also lived in South Holland, but would have been harder to track with her married name.
I don't know how many Schueneman descendants there are from Erma's generation or later. I thought she had siblings, but I don't know any names. There's a bit of a Linde section in Bethania Cemetery just outside Chicago. It's in Worth or Justice, one of those collar towns on the South side. It's a beautiful German cemetery, and I wouldn't be surprised if there were a Scheuneman section, probably with more ancestors. I don't live in the Chicago area anymore, so when I do actually get up to the cemetery to visit, it's usually outside office hours and I don't have an opportunity to look up any information.
If you want to share more, feel free. :)
