I'm looking for any information on the following families:
Nils or Nels LIND b. Nov 26, 1867 in Sweden d. May 15, 1951 in Placer County, California. It looks like he was a miner working in Leadville, Colorado 1886-1890, but not positive. He married Almeda (Meda) AULT in Jefferson County, Colorado. I have information on their children, but have hit a brick wall when it comes to Nels parents. His death certificate says his mother's name was Sofia.
Rumor has it that he had a brother that also immigrated. I found another LIND that could possibly be that brother:
Emil LIND was a laborer in Leadville, Colorado 1887-1888 and might have died soon after. In the 1900 census, there is the following who I believe may be his family:
Anna LIND (widowed) - b. May 1860 in Sweden
Carl LIND - b. Jan 1885 in Sweden
Olga S. LIND - b. May 1888 in Sweden
Emil A. LIND - b. Oct. 1893 in Colorado
Dora B. LIND - b. May 1895 in Colorado
I'd like to confirm if Emil was related to my Nels or any information on Nels LIND family.
