Abraham Lincoln in Bridgeport, CT 1860 and a connection to his death in 1865

Considering it is the 200TH anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birthday today I thought would note my family connection to Lincoln. On 10 Mar 1860 Lincoln visited Bridgeport, CT to give a speech at Washington Hall, which most likely his Cooper Union speech which he had given in NYC in Feb 1860. My maternal 3RD great grandfather Frederick Wood (1815-1877) served Lincoln dinner at his home on Washington Ave in Bridgeport before Lincoln gave his speech. The dinner was supposed to have been Lincoln's first fried oyster dinner. While at the Wood home Lincoln complained about the seating on the trains he had been traveling on and commented he liked the chair he was sitting on at the Wood home. The Wood's lent Lincoln this chair for his upcoming train travel. This "Lincoln" chair was returned to the Wood family by Lincoln. The last record of this "Lincoln" chair I have found was in a 1933 Bridgeport, CT newspaper article about the will of a daughter in law of Frederick Wood's (not of my line). Frederick Wood went on to be an elector to the Electoral College from CT for Lincoln in the 1860 election. Frederick Wood's was an owner of a carriage manufacturing business in Bridgeport, CT and NYC, either Wood Brothers or Wood and Co. On the night Lincoln was shot at Ford's Theater in April 1865 he traveled to the theater in a Wood Brother's carriage.
