Thanks for your reply. The George Limerick I have, was born in 1779 and died 18 Feb 1865. He had two sons, Thomas (b 1799) and Samuel (b 1810).
It all sounds like a match till this point- my George Limerick was married to Ann Limerick (b. 1775, d 1815). I have no record of Mary Hamilton. I do have record of other Hamiltons though- Hazel Limerick (b 16 Dec 1887, d 1986) married Guy Hamilton, and had two children, Barbara and Patricia. Those are the only Hamiltons I have.
Unfotunately this is part of the problem- I have no idea where many of these Limericks came from, or travelled to.
