I have a bit more info. Our John LILLIS was a traveling salesman of sewing machines. We think he may have lived in Baltimore, MD, with his mother, Mrs. Mary Lillis, before migrating West. In addition to Dodge City, he and his family lived in Lawrence and Kansas City at various times. He and Mary Rearick Lillis had these children:

Ruth Marie b. 1893, mar. Howard BAUGHER.
John Ralph b. 1894
Abigail Lenora b. 1896, mar. LJ KIRKHAM.
James Walter b. 1898
John David b. 1900?

Do you recognize any of these names? Do you have any Lillis boys in the Navy 1914-1917?
