It would be really something to find someone related to this clan now, after 4 years of searching. Here is my best info. From Chicago newspaper April 1912.

Lillis--Officer Partick F. beloved husband of Mary ( nee Lysaght)fond father of Nellie, Francis, Joseph, Mary and Margaret, brother of John, Michael, Mrs. Cautlon, Mrs. Dewitt, Richard, James and the late William Lillis: native of Ballingarry , County Limerick, Ireland. Funeral Wednesday 9:30 a.m. from late residence 4345 Grenshaw st. to Presentation church where solemn requiem high mass will be celebrated, thence by carriage to Calvary.

It is my understanding he passed away within months of an accidential shooting were he killed a child on duty as Chicago PD.Death records state he was 47 years old. Did your parish records have birthdates? Francis died in WWI at age 19. Mary was my grandmother passed awawy in Chicago in 1982.

Please keep in touch.
