I think we have a connection. The Ballingarry got me. According to parish records there were William, Michael, Mary, Richard, John, James, Ellen, and Patrick Lillis.. all born at Kilmacow, Ballengarry, between 1846 & 1863. John, my grandfather, was not listed on the birth records.. often true during that period.. but was best man at his brother James' wedding to my grandmother's sister Mary. There could be even more siblings. I have traced John & James' descendents but have had little success with the others. I do remember..about 1930.. a cousin of my mother's ( Dick Lillis ) who was a detective on the Chicago Police. Hearsay has it that most of the Lillis ( and Tracy ) clans in Chicago lived in Brighton Park or Bridgeport. Not too different as these were Irish neighborhoods. Have more.
