Well, I just had a little free time at work and randomly thought I would see if I could find anything on my geneology. I was actually born and raised in Sherman by my father James (Jim) Anthony Lillis, son of Joseph Lillis (my grandfather)who was married to Kathleen who still lives in Sherman. If this is the same person, Joseph attended Austin College and was involved in virtually every sport offered and even played some professional football for a couple of years. He died of heart problems at a fairly early age (40's?). He passed away when my father was in his teens, so, I obviously never knew him. If this is him his three children were my father Jim who still lives in Sherman, Judy who is married with three children and lives in Tulsa, and Joe Edward who is also married with two children and lives in Wichita Falls.

Let me know if I'm on track here, it sounds like we're on the same page. Also, I do remember hearing different stories about member/members of our family being linked to the railroad industry.

Hope this helps you out.
