Bealie is short for Belilah.
The family are in the 1851 census.Richard Lillico head 51 labourer born Grindon, Belilah wife 42 born Mindrum, Barbara daughter b Berwick, Jabez 7 son b Berwick, James Son 17 App grocer b Tweedmouth, Mary dau 13 b berwick, Rachel dau 11 b Berwick, Richard son 21 confectioner b Spittal, Thomas son app butcher 19 b Tweedmouth.
They are in Berwick in 1851.
I am pretty sure that Richard senior's father was also Richard Lillico who died at Ness Street Berwick aged 81 , 7 Oct 1834.
His wife was Mary Lillico nee Ray and they married in Lowick 18 May 1788.
They had Thomas Lillico bap 1793 Norham, Richard bap 1801 Norham ( married Bealie), and Mary Lillico born 1789 Lowick, married Peter Anderson.
Peter Anderson and Mary Lillico are my ggg grandparents.
Regards,
Graham Gall
