I have Sarah Likens married to James Critchlow. I have her parents as John Likens and Elvira Randall. They lived in Gloucheter, VA though I Hqve Sara as born in New Jersey. I must warn you that I have not documented any of this.

I do that thee were two Swedish brothers, Peter and Michael, who were early immigrants to the New Sweden settlement. Their father was Nils, so in the Swedish tradition they would have taken the surname Nilson. However, they instead chose to use the surname Lycan after their village in Varmland, Sweden. That surname morphed over time into various others, including Likens. The early generations of Peter and Michaell are well document, so you should have no trouble finding out more about them.
