Hello Marilyn,
I have a little information on Grandmother Selena. I will get it all out in a little while and send you what I have. You probably have about as much as I do. Did you know that Paul Lightsey is interested in this genealogy, too? He is the one who originally got me started. It seems there are a bunch of people in our family who are also. Has your mother met Don Lightsey? He visited Mama a few months ago. I have his address somewhere. I believe he lives in Mississpi. He had a big album of Lightsey family pictures. He copied some mother had. I fussed at her for not telling me he was coming. She is really not interested in digging up the past! I will get his address if I haven't cleaned up too good. I sometimes get in a hurry and throw away the wrong pile. We will have to get together soon. You know Mable was 90 in November. We really need to talk to her and mother and get some stories before it is too late. Coreen sent me several pictures over the years at Christmas. They were pictures of mother as an infant. If it were not for her we would not have any pictures of Mama as a baby. I treasure them as if they were gold. I will talk to you soon. I have a leak under my kitchen sink this morning and am letting it dry out before I put down new paper. After I finish this project and throw away a few more sacks of wrapping paper I will get out my box of stuff.
