Lisa, the info helps to fill in some gaps.

My husband is descended from Capt Francis Light, but we're not sure from which of his children. I got some info from a magazine "Hemisphere" which gives limited insight. Apparently his will listed one of the children as Lukey Light.

What became of the other Light children? Did they stay with their father in Penang, Malaysia after he founded the island? or where they settled in UK? We know WIlliam went on to discover Adelaide and probably stayed on?

How have you become familiar with the LIght family? Can you recommend some sources?

p/s tried also to email you at bigpond.

Regards
