Daniel LIGHT + Susannah STEWART

Is the identity of Susannah STEWART's parents known?

If Daniel LIGHT and Susannah STEWART were md. in Harrison Co., KY, about May 1, 1799, as LDS records suggest, the chances are great that Susannah was a sister of William (2) STEWART and Charles William STEWART, sons of William (1) STEWART and Susanna unknown (possibly GRIGSBY) -- too many Williams here, but that's what the lineage is suggesting so far. There may also have been a sister named Ann.

Malinda STEWART b. in Harrison Co., KY, dau. of William (2), md. Martin LIGHT. Malinda and Martin both d. before the 1850 census leaving 4 orphaned children that various relatives raised.

Appears to be too many coincidences here to ignore, but it's hard to know for sure without further investigation.

This STEWART family lived in various counties in KY in the early 1800s. William (2) and several of his children eventually moved to Van Buren Co., Iowa, while others moved to various counties in Indiana and Missouri.

More details on this STEWART family is in my MUCK / STEWART Family File accessed through my website at
http://hometown.aol.com/wilenesmth/index.html then searched from there.
