A few LIGHT questions.

Hi all
Things sure have slowed down on this forum.. guess it is summer and everyone is out enjoying the heat and humidity.

Ok, here goes. I am decended from Johann Henrich LEICHT and Anna Elisabetha SCHMIDT through their son Johann Henrich LEICHT Jr. who married Hannah (see his Will dated Sept 1760). Question 1. Some have speculated that the Hannah listed in his will was Hannah HIGGINS because there were three HIGGINS listed as witnesses. Has anyone been able to prove this?

Lazarus LIGHT, the 4th child of Johann and Hannah (sometimes referred to as Dr. Lazarus LIGHT) married Elizabeth Unknown. I've heard reference to her being Elizabeth LANGDON christened on 08 Sep 1751 at the Rumbout, Presbyterian Church, Dutchess Co. NY. And that they were married 31 Dec 1771 in Sussex Co. NJ. Question #2. Has this been proved?

Henry LIGHT the 5th child of Lazaarus and Elizabeth was born about 1771 and married Lydia HATHAWAY on 06 Nov 1792 at Montgomery Co., Virginia. (source:Marriages--Virginia to 1800 (: Dodd, Jordan R, et. al. Early American Marriages: Virginia to 1800.)Question #3. Do we know anything about Lydia's parents (named Leonard HATHAWAY and Susannah Unknown). Question #4 If Lazarus was married in Sussex Co. NJ, why was Henry listed as being born back in NY?

Question #5 Is there any relationship between this family and the Lebanon PA family? If so, where is the connection?

Question #6 How many basic "LIGHT" families are there in the US. LIGHT from England, LEICHT from Germany and how many more?

Thanks gang
