I am pretty sure that the Right(aka)Wright Light you describe is my great grandfather. He lived with my father Harve Clifton Light Sr and my grandfather Harve Clifton Light Sr in Ladonia, Texas. Right was in the 22nd Texas Cavalry in the Civil War. I have visited his grave and veteran's marker at Providence Cemetery north of Ladonia. His father William Light also lived nearby, I think in Honey Grove. Wright is named after his great grandfather, also named Right Light a veteran of the Frontier Wars. The elder Right left some bounty land in Humphrey's county Tennessee to his heirs. The elder Right appears in the will of old William Light whose wife was Patience Dillingham. William and Patience lived in Halifax Virginia, and moved to Tennessee (Washington District) in about 1780. William of Halifax's father was John Light Senior of Halifax, who owned land in Amelia county Virginia in 1736.
Prior to that there is evidence but is very complex.
A closer relative of your Vache Light may be Francie Laughtner of Wren Court in Arlington Texas.
