Elizabeth Light was born at Radway Grange in Radway,Oxfordshire. In the great hall at Sulgrave Manor(Washington ancestral home)hangs the marrige shield showing the Lyte coat of arms.I will shortly be meeting the Director of Sulgrave Manor to examine documents from the 16th century. The Lights of Horley(4 miles from Radway)trace back to the Lytes of LytesCarey.
