The book is fictional

Dear friends,
I received a letter from a Lyte family member in England who is unhappy with the fictional and dramatic devices I use to write about geneaolgy. Apparently I've offended the Lyte family and are afraid that Light tourists will be disappointed.
Let me repeat...The story in the front of my book is fiction based on real records. But it is STILL unproven as to what the origin of the Light family of Halifax Virginia prior to about 1736 or 1746. The records in the book are real, not fiction. All the genealogy advice I give is from Francie Laughtner who gave me her chart.
We certainly can't claim to be descendants of the Lytes of Lytescary.
