Dear Carlton,
I found George Albert Light and wife Ellen Lenora Archer in notes by Francie Lautner, a genealogist in Arlington Texas.
George's parents were George L. Light and Sarah "Sally" Simpson. George's grandfather was Wright Light (also my ancestor)a member of the Sullivan co Tenn militia during the Frontier Wars.
Wright Light's parents were William Light and Patience Dillingham of Haliax VA who moved to Hawkins co Tenn in about 1780.
William's father was John Light Sr of Halifax who came to Ellis Creek in 1746, but also had a plantation in Amelia co Virginia in 1736 where he was in the fur trade.
I'm pretty sure John's father was a John or William from Norfolk co Va.But I'm sure he had many other Light relatives in Lancaster co Virginia and in Barbados.
the Lyte/Light farm and house is still there in Lytescary Somerset England, and has been carefully restored and preserved by the English government. There is a picture of it on the internet. Search for Lytescary or Lytes Cary.
