Your Daniel Light was a brother of my ancestor Jacob Light (1757-1833) of Clermont Co OH. Their father was John, whose wife was Catherine, not Marget, as was said for many years. John Light was a son of Jacob Light (d ca 1763 Lancaster Co PA), and this John was not the one who sailed from Rotterdam in 1738 (not birthplace, but place of embarcation). Jacob's wife was Barbara. Jacob was in Pennsylvania at least as early as 1730 and maybe 10 or more years before that.
