The reason for my interest is that one Mary Harris is buried there. She was supposedly the first wife of my husband's great grandfather, Andrew Jackson Rader. We never knew her maiden name. Their son was Jacob Frank Rader. We visited the place where we were told Poor Farm is located, but there was nothing we could see there of any headstone for her. There is a church on the opposite side of the road, but we hadn't checked to see if they have a list of names which might include her. When she passed away, she was Mary Harris, I think divorced, and with two sons by Harris. Her death was due to tuberculosis of the bowels.
