I have a family paper called the "Warner Family Register" that says; "Elizabeth Light Warner, the daughter of John Light and Barbara, his wife, was born in Lancaster Pennsylvania in 1786 and died in Pittsburgh on November 25, 1863. John Light and Barbara, his wife, ere born in England and came to America 17--. John Light settled in Beaver county after living in Lancaster Pa.where his three children were born and where his wife Barbara died in 1788.
Children of John and Barbara Light were: Barbars,David, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth married Frederick Warner of Lancaster, son of George Warner of Chambersburgh, Pa. They settled on an estate in Stark Co.ohio near canton, which they then sold to Cornelius Vanderbuilt and came to Allegheny Co. Pa. to reside.
Children of Frederick Warner and Elizabeth Light were: Jon, jonathan, Eleanor, Eliza, Matilds, Mary, William Vanderbilt, Hortensia and Joseph.
Frederick Warner died and was buried in Chambersburg. Elizabeth died after years in Pittsburg and is buried in Alleghent county cemetery in Pittsburgh."
Does any of this relate to anyone? William was my gg grandfather on my mother's mother's side.
