Looking for any information on Ruth Light b. between 1827 and 1831 probably in November. Most likely place of birth is Clermont COunty Ohio. I see a large number of Lights there but can't place this person. She is NOT the Ruth b. 1835 daughter of Peter and Hepsibeth listed on the 1850 census. I believe she is closely linked to them tho. She married James Whitney in 1849 or so, he died shortly after. They had One son Oliver Perry Whitney. James may have been the son of the James Whitney living with Peter and Hepsibeth Light.
This Ruth later married Joseph Golladay in COles COunty Illinois and died aroun 1909 in St. Joseph Missouri. If anyone can place her with the proper parents let me know.
