Ok, I'm not very good at this stuff yet. Don't post hearsay. ;)

Here's the real deal on Clement Obet Light. His father was not Edward, his name was Edwin. According to the 1880 census, he was married to an Amanda (maiden unknown) It lists his birthdate as 1848, and hers as 1845 if you calculate it given their ages. They were living in Green, Wayne, Ohio at the time, but both had lived in Lebanon, PA 10 years earlier. Their two oldest children, Emma Light, and Edwin E. Light, were born in PA and are listed on the 1870 census. They had three children when they moved to Ohio, Andrew J Light, Clement Obet (incorrectly listed as Clement D on the 1880 census) and George Washington Light. I was able to trace Edwin back one generation using census info, and found his father to most likely be Felix Light (b.1810) married to a Veronica (unknown).

Does anyone know anything about these Lights? Started in Lebanon, PA, but moved into Ohio around mid 1870?? If you have info, I'd love to talk to you! :)

Cheers!
Ben
