In trying to tie together my own LYTE line...I have been reading the records (on CD or online at Family Tree Maker) of Barbados.

I have located at least two females connected to the LYTE surname.

Susanna. Slave. John Gordon bapt. Jan 8, 1780 St. Michael Parish, Barbados. "of Mrs. Susanna Lyte"

Sarah Lyte. Free Mulatto. Born Dec 14, 1737 St. Michael Parish, Barbados.
