My dad,1898-2000 grew up on the farm pioneered 1798,by
PETER,of John,Light,n of Bethel,Ohio. His sons were DAVID
and Rev George C Light,Methodist .And a dau m Wm Smith.
Peter was brother of Jacob,founder of New Richmond,Oh,and
Daniel,and of Mrs Alexander Robb. 1790 Westmoreland,w Pa.
earlier Berkley Co,Va [WV] and earlier yet,Churchtown,east
of Lancaster,Pa. Just read Jones's interview in Draper's "Ky Papers' that the Light's attempted settlement
under George Morgan,at New Madrid,Spanish Missouri, 1790's

Rev George C Light,1785-1859,was in his latter years,I think,with the "Methodist Church,SOUTH",PERHAPS FROM Louisville,Ky
