No I'm not lost as to the spelling. Just desperate to connect. Thinking as in a lot of cases that someone decided to change the spelling. I do know that the Leiderman name is basic as Jewish. My husbands family insist that they are German. John Henry Leiderman was born 1860 in New Jersey. Married Rose M. Weitzel of Penn. 1878. They lived in Bethlehem,Pa. Hope that this long shot pays off.
