Hi Dave,
My family isn't from count Clare but that does mean anything since they moved around a lot. Mu great-great-great grandparents were John and Mary Liddy and they left Ireland during the Potato Famine and settled in Canada, where in Canada I have been able to come up with yet. John was born June 23 , 1797 and he married Mary Armstrong June 13, 1823. They had many children that were all born in Ireland. What I can't find is the paper that had the whole line from Wyllyam Lyddy down. My great-greatgrandfather was born 1828 in Enniskillen which is a way from County Clare I know but that doesn't mean that your and my families aren't conected. thanks for the reply sue
