Hi Simon,
George Liddle & Alice Lee are the beginning of my tree. My personal belief is that George came from Scotland? and combined with the name change in spelling Liddle this makes detecting records problematic. Their son Thomas who married Margaret Patterson is my line. I was able to locate one descendant of this family in the USA but he did not send me his tree or details.
Where does your Liddle tree begin? Did your descendants come to the America's or stay in the UK?
