The whole Molloy Leyden thing is quite interesting. One supposes that there must be good reasons for families to intermarry twice.........possibly at that time in that place there were limited options. Hannah Leyden was born Clarke and her brother was a merchant seaman working out of Liverpool. Where possible, he set sail on Friday 13th. She was a fairly well-known local artist and copyist. She went for a while to live on the coast of Wales and emgigrated to SA where she died, somtime in the 50s one would guess.
