Looking for more information on the Martin Leyden born in Ireland about 1865, went to Ohio- possibly 1872 (as his brother, Patrick did.
I've been told his wife's name was "Jessie Wilder" but I have no first-hand proof of that.

Father is John (or maybe Thomas) born about 1833 in Clare County. Mother is Ann Lynch born 1833 or so also.

Most of his family went to Kelley's Island, Ohio and then to Cleveland when the quarry closed.

He was the 2nd born of (atleast) 7 children. I am a direct descendant of his brother Michael Augustus who is my great grandfather.

If anyone can shed some light on this let me know.

Peggy (Leyden) Schenk
