I really don't have much from primary sources about all of the Luzaders, Luzadders, etc. other than most census records. I haven't chased after the many documents that surley exist in Monongalia County, as I am working diligently on my Cunningham line. I can only hope that a record of Abel Davis will exists in Monongalia County. I currently have too much microfilm searching going on at LDS to order what they may have on the Luzaders and Davises. I have found on the 1850 census for Hancock County, Illinois, page 355, census was taken November 4th: William D. Luzadder, 37 years old, b. Ohio. Mary Luzadder, 36 years old, b. Ohio. George, 6 years old, b. Illinois, and John McTice 16 years old, a laborer, b. in Canada living with them. They are living next door to James M. Luzadder, 33 years old, b. Ohio. Charlotte T. Luzadder, 21 years old, b. New Bruswich. Edward C. Luzadder, 1 years old, b. Illinois. James M. Luzadder, 4/12 years old, b. Illinois. Of course this isn't the William Luzadder you are looking for, but I don't know who he is, nor do I know this James Luzadder either. There are several different factions of Luzaders etc. that were in the near west in the first part of the 19th century, and I do hope to at least try to sort them out someday. Since these family members are not in my direct line, I doubt that I will go for primary documentation. For now Libraries would probably be our best chance at getting leads for the missing links. I would be most interested if a researcher from these lines would share what they know, or at least find incentive to dig up there roots, and share it in this forum.
