You ask a good question. The unknown responder with the hidden email address posted unsubstantiated garbage.

The wife, of John Lewis is unknown. Her names has not been found in any RI records. John Lewis' birth, birthplace, origins, parents, etc are unknown. The first record we can find for John is the Misquamicut agreement in 1661.
