Patrick - Thanks for the fast response - So, I will too. the William Lewis that is my wife's ancestor. We have a family bible that can be found on: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~peasoup/lewisbible.htm

William Lewis and Mary Parker are the parents .. Their second son died as a teenager - his name was "Holland" .. We believe this was his middle name - no clue as to his full name. He had a sister, Lydia H. who in papers later said she was "Lydia Holland Lewis" .. All total, William and Mary had 15 children. There are some reasons to believe that Mary Parker Lewis had a Georgia connection. There was also a very elderly Lewis man living in Dickson County in 1850 named George Lewis who was 89. Maybe these clues will help.
