Thanks for posting interesting information on Meek & Lewelling. I'm interested in the Lewellings because two of the Lewelling boys married Presnall sisters. The Iowa-to-Oregon "traveling nursery" put together by Meek and the Lewelling brothers was an important and unique accomplishment of pioneer days. I used to work in San Leandro and frequently drove down Lewelling Blvd, but I had never heard of the Meek Mansion until your posting. Can you tell me where the mansion is located? Do you have any further info on early Lewellings in the bay area? Thanks again.
